AI Greeting Generator (“we,” “us,” or “the Service”) is a free website available at aigreetinggenerator.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information is processed when you use the Service and the choices available to you.

The Short Version

You do not need an account to use the generator.
Your recipient, occasion, tone, and generated messages are saved in your browser so you can restore recent work.
When you generate a message, the necessary input is sent through our Cloudflare Worker to OpenRouter and its selected model provider.
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand visits and interactions, but we do not intentionally send it your greeting form values or generated messages.
We do not intentionally store your greeting inputs or generated message content in our own database.
Do not enter sensitive, confidential, or legally protected information into the generator.

Information We Process

Greeting Inputs and Outputs

To create a greeting, you may provide a recipient description, occasion, and tone. The Service sends those details, together with generation instructions, to our server endpoint. The AI response is streamed back to your browser.

The current version does not require registration and does not intentionally persist greeting inputs or AI outputs in a server-side database. However, the request must be processed by our hosting and AI providers to produce the response.

Information Stored in Your Browser

The Service uses browser localStorage to remember:

Your latest recipient, occasion, and tone selections
Up to eight recent generated messages and their related selections

This information stays on the device and browser profile where it was created unless you clear it. You can remove saved history with the in-product clear control or through your browser settings.

Technical and Usage Information

Cloudflare, our hosting and security provider, may process technical request information such as IP address, browser and device details, timestamps, requested URLs, and security signals. We may use limited technical logs to keep the Service secure, diagnose failures, prevent abuse, and maintain availability.

We use Google Analytics 4 to measure users, sessions, page visits, and interactions. Its default measurement may include approximate geolocation and browser or device information. We do not intentionally send greeting form values or generated message content to Google Analytics.

Communications

If you email us, we receive the email address and information you choose to include so that we can respond.

How We Use Information

We process information only as needed to:

Generate and stream the greeting message you request
Restore your recent work locally in your browser
Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Service
Understand aggregate traffic and interaction patterns
Detect spam, abuse, automated attacks, or unlawful activity
Respond to questions and comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information.

AI, Analytics, and Infrastructure Providers

OpenRouter and Model Providers

Generation requests are sent server-to-server to OpenRouter. OpenRouter routes the request to a model provider to produce the output. OpenRouter states that it stores request metadata and does not store prompt or response content by default unless the account opts into content logging or use; model providers can have their own logging, retention, and training policies. Review OpenRouter’s data collection documentation, provider logging documentation, and privacy policy before submitting personal information.

Cloudflare

The website and API run on Cloudflare Workers. Cloudflare processes network traffic and may retain security or operational logs according to its own policies.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to measure site usage. Google may use first-party cookies and process measurement data under its own Privacy Policy. You can also use Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Data Retention

Browser history remains until you clear it, the browser removes site data, or you use a different browser profile or device.
We do not intentionally retain greeting content in our own application database.
Hosting providers may retain limited technical logs under their policies.
OpenRouter and model providers control their own metadata and content retention practices.
Google controls Analytics data retention under the property settings and its policies.
Emails are retained as reasonably necessary to answer and maintain support records.

Your Choices

You can:

Use a generic recipient description instead of a real name
Avoid entering sensitive or confidential information
Clear recent messages with the in-product control
Delete all site data through your browser settings
Block or delete analytics cookies, or use Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on
Stop using the Service at any time
Email us to ask about information you previously sent directly to us
